The Okuma EVx Surf rods use soft EVA foam in front of the Fuji reel seat. Adding to the rod Okuma uses comfortable and durable rubber tubing over the top of the thin EVA. This creates extraordinary comfort and grip with an imprinted diamond pattern on the handle.
